About Base Camp Printing Base Camp Printing Co. is a vintage letterpress shop, design studio, and retail store offering unique modern designs using old-fashioned handmade printing techniques. Everything from concert and event posters to personal stationery and wedding invitations is designed in-house and printed by hand on old-school printing presses using traditional methods of setting type and hand-carving images. Larger pieces are printed on a Vandercook 219-AB made in the 1950s. Other pieces are done on a Chandler & Price Platen Press that is around 100 years old!
